With eight years behind the drum kit, Cooper Hughes anchors Good Damage's melodic tunes and brings a rhythm and spirit that drives the band’s music. Beyond his drumming talents, he's a versatile musician, studying vocals, piano and guitar, adding depth and enthusiasm to the band's sonic palette. From cover bands to Alternative Rock ensembles, he's immersed himself in live performances, drawing inspiration from over 170 concerts and iconic 80's hair metal bands like Warrant and Skid Row. During his time playing live, he's crafted a signature style that pays homage to the legends of the past while paving the way for his own sonic revolution. In 2023, Cooper attended the Berklee Aspire summer program where he propelled his skills to the next level. His favorite song on the setlist is “Ain’t It Fun” by Paramore.
